The 2014 BEPA dinner was another great success with well over 100 members and guests enjoying a dinner at The Haycock Hotel, Wansford.
The dinner followed a BEPA Council meeting where members discussed forthcoming opportunities for the pulse industry in the UK with a particular emphasis on the forthcoming International Year of Pulses 2016.
The positive mood carried on to the dinner where, after a great meal, the prizes were awarded to the winning merchants of the 2014 Pulse Competition.
Following a few words from President Andy Bury, the raffle and charity auction raised over £5000 for this year’s chosen charity Parkinson’s UK (www.parkinsons.org.uk).
“We have never before raised so much money at our annual dinner, so a massive thanks to all those who contributed to such a worthwhile cause,” commented Andy Bury.
